Criteria for Admission to
ULI
- The student must be 15 years of
age or older
- Full-time students must apply
for a minimum of 2 consecutive sessions (4 months)
- The student
must fulfill all
the requirements of the application
procedure
- Students must submit all
required documents in a timely manner.
ULI does NOT require a TOEFL score
for admission.
Deadlines
- During some of the month of September
and October, the main admissions officer will be out of the office on
maternity leave. Her replacement will need more time than usual to
process documents, so please have patience. Also, any complicated
immigration issues (such as reinstatements and changes of status) will
need to be directed toward an immigration lawyer. Thank you for your
patience and understanding.
- Please plan ahead! We do not have deadlines for applications,
but you should be careful not to apply too late. We may not have time to
process your application immediately if you've waited until the last
minute.
- Check visa wait
times in the city in which you will apply for your student visa to
make sure you have enough time to get a visa.
- After you've submitted all required documents to ULI, please
allow 4-14 business days to receive your acceptance packet from ULI by
DHL Express Mail (this does not include times when ULI offices are not
open). You should be aware that we do not have time to process
applications for the future sessions during our break weeks between
sessions (when we are on vacation and are testing new students for the
current session) and during the first 2 days of class of each
session.
- We hire
teachers based on the number of students who attend the scheduled
placement test. If you apply late or do not attend the scheduled
placement test, you may have to wait until a later date to study or
study in a level below the one in which you test.
Application Procedure
Send application and
all required documents to us by postal mail, email, or fax.

enrolled in classes at ULI. The student should consult closely with
both schools to make sure that the total number of hours taken at each
school is enough to maintain their student visa status. The student
