Nonimmigrants, other than

may attend classes while their change of
status is still pending.
University Language Institute (ULI) can
help you gather the documents necessary
for your change of status. However, you

Immigration Services
(USCIS). You should apply before your
current status expires.
c. If
I
have another type of visa
Please send all
application materials to ULI, including
a
copy of all immigration documents so
that we can give you guidance
about what to do to attend ULI. Also,
our insurance company does not
cover people with residency or
citizenship, so you should purchase
insurance on your own.
B-1 or B-2
(tourist or business) visa:
You cannot attend classes.
F-2 or J-2
visa: You can attend classes for
less than
18 hours per week (1-3 classes per day)

Please contact ULI to let us know that
your visa was denied. We will do
all that we can to help you! You can
usually apply again in 6 months.
Please let ULI know when you plan to apply

special letter for you and send you a new
form I-20.
